Questions to Consider (Please address the following in your essay.)
1. What is something you wish we had spent more time on?
2. How would you classify your ability to write at the beginning of the semester? Do you feel that you were more of a critical [scholarly] writer, a creative writer, or not a writer at all? How would you classify your ability to write at the end of the semester? What would you attribute as the cause for the change in your writing?
3. How would you classify your skills at the beginning of the course when it came to writing and knowing how to use different genres in your writing (narrative, comparison/contrast, making an argument, analyzing the rhetoric of an argument)? How would you classify your skills at the end of the course when it comes to the same?
4. Which writing tasks did you feel were the most beneficial to you and to developing your skills as a writer over the course of the semester? Please explain. [This is not to evaluate the writing tasks, per se; it is simply for you to decide which tasks were the most beneficial to you as a student-writer. This includes prewriting activities, note taking tools, outlines, source dialogues, research days, peer review, etc.]
5. What did you find to be most (or least) beneficial when it came to peer review? What do you wish your peers provided that was missing?
6. What do you feel the final project (Project 3) demonstrates about your strengths or growth as a writer?
