This is a post from a student i need small comment and a question about his post please.The special covenant is a contract to hold the people and God accountable for their deeds. The people must obey Gods commands and God will grant favors while following ethical agreements. Examples of this covenant in the Jewish religion are Abraham’s obedience towards anything that God directed him to do. For instance, cutting away at the foreskin of the penis “circumcision” must be performed on the 8th day after birth. Another example would be Abraham sacrificing his son Issac. Many did not agree with Gods logic as to why he would order Abraham to do such a thing. I think this was the ultimate test to see where his loyalty stood. I do not think that he was ever going to let him kill his precious son but God wanted him to understand what he can give to the people as a blessing, he can take it away. He must be able to understand that God has to be feared.Fisher, 2014 pp 251
